If you’re in Somerset on Tues 27th April…

Multi Media Artist Jackie Calderwood just sent me this about 'Soundlines', a multi-stranded  media arts project with schools and community of Weston Super Mare, imagined and facilitated by Strata Collective, a Somerset group of artists who are passionate about landscape and participatory arts.
The Premiere will be held at Willow Cafe, Worle School, Weston Super Mare BS22 8XX, next Tuesday 27th from 6-8pm and will showcase film, mediascapes, animation and music made during the project, in response to the dramatic landscape of Sand Point – a stunning finger of the Mendip hills, that reaches out into the Bristol Channel, North of Weston Super Mare. Come for the whole event, or just drop in for a 'taster' with tea and cake!
We'll be launching the project web gallery http://www.stratacollective.org/soundlines
[Note: more content going live on the 27th] screening a short documentary by eShed's young docs crew with Tim Crawley , and sharing more of the stories of Sand Point with you during the evening.
Soundlines is funded by Awards For All (Big Lottery Fund) and by the RIFE Investment fund through the UK Film Council and South West Screen. Supported by the Pervasive Media Studio, Worle Community School (Community Arts and Extended Schools Team) and Locking School.
